MedDRA Subscription Rates

Under the governance of the ICH MedDRA Management Board, MedDRA is continuously enhanced to meet the evolving needs of all its users around the world. Sustainability of a high quality terminology needs an income stream and the ICH MedDRA Board has opted for a licensing model that provides access to the terminology at a fair cost shared by its users through an annual subscription fee.

The ICH MedDRA Management Board approves the subscription fees on an annual basis and uses the revenues generated by the fees to cover the annual costs of the MedDRA MSSO and MedDRA development activities.

How Much Does MedDRA Cost?

MedDRA subscription rates are based on organization classification and annual revenue.

MedDRA subscriptions for core services are priced on a sliding scale, based on the total parent company annual revenue that is declared in the subscribing organization's annual report.

The MedDRA Management Board has approved the MSSO’s proposal for no increase in subscription rates for 2013. The MedDRA Chinese language subscription rates (based on a sliding scale) have been reduced.

Prices quoted do not include sales, use, value added, withholding taxes, customs, or wire transfer fees where applicable.

Policy for Payment

Payment Terms: Subscription materials will not be provided until payment is received.

Payment Methods: Payments must be made in US dollars. Payment information is provided on each invoice. Please identify invoice number with payment. Checks and wire transfers are accepted forms of payment. If the wire transfer is coming through an international bank, please be sure to include any bank transfer fees with your payment. We do not accept credit cards.
