MSSO TrainingAt the direction of the ICH MedDRA Management Board, the MedDRA MSSO provides a number of different training opportunities offered to all MedDRA subscribers: • Free subscriber face-to-face training - The MSSO provides free classroom training in a variety of locations to support users around the world. Topics cover Coding with MedDRA and, MedDRA Safety Data Analysis and SMQs. The training includes an expert instructor and training materials. The attendee is only responsible for their travel to the training site. See the schedule to register. • Free subscriber webinars - The MSSO provides free webinars on introductory topics such as MedDRA Coding Basics, Introduction to MedDRA, Introduction to MedDRA Safety Data Analysis and SMQs for Physicians, and What's New in MedDRA. The ICH MedDRA Management Board also realizes that organizations may need additional training and has required that MSSO provides purchasable services to meet all users’ needs: • Fee-based onsite training - If you have more than just one or two staff to train, you may want to consider the option of onsite training. An MSSO trainer comes to your organization’s site and uses the same training materials as the free face-to-face training described above. Certified MedDRA Coder (CMC) Examination The Certified MedDRA Coder (CMC) examination assesses knowledge of MedDRA coding and of the MedDRA Term Selection: Points to Consider (PTC) document by using short verbatim and narrative question formats.
